Creative Undercurrents
In a team of 10 co-creators, we wrote a collection of essays on creativity and innovation that we brought together in abook. What are the sources of creativity and which undercurrents bring creativity to life and tangible? Each essay was accompanied by a visual that shows creative energy in a mono-colored background, superimposed a simple line drawing represeting a means or device to control the seemingly uncontrollable creative restlessness'. The backgrounds of the illustrations are taken from a canvas I painted especially for this writing-project, representing creative energy and the creative mind that swims - like salmon on their way to breed - upstream, against the forces of consensus en conformity. I really loved doing this project, the people, the energy and the ultimate result. Btw, I also did the layout and pre-press for the book. I'll post some of that also on this site.
